I’m impressed, I must say. Really not often do I encounter a weblog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you could have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the issue sleep and humor is something people rarely talk about.

  5. Lauren Bower says:

Excellent list and very accurate too. I’m a hardcore insomniac and all of these apply to me every single one.

  6. Anna says:

Lauren I feel the same. For me the uncomfortable environment is a major issue. I live in the city and the noise is unbearable. I can’t seem to sleep with earplugs everything inside my body (like my heart) is amplified. Plus I need a new mattress.

  7. Anna says:

I like the list especially number 1. Fear of sleep = fear of dying. I don’t like getting into bed I fight it every night better off falling asleep on the couch or distracting myself. Good list.

  8. Katie says:

I would like permission to reprint this list.

  21. Rachel Jamison says:

The uncomfortable sleep environment needs to be broken down since it is a huge reason why people don’t sleep. My sister has had the same mattress for 20 years and complains about it but doesn’t replace it. And friends who live in the city (Chicago) complain constantly about the noise and light. I would like to see more articles about this issue. Thanks for the list.

  22. Rachel Jamison says:

Fear of dying is probably the biggest reason for stress insomnia well maybe pressure of performance might be the strongest. I’m afraid to sleep, afraid I won’t wake up. Really it’s a control issue.

  23. joan says:

Thank you for bringing this issue up. The sleep environment is essential to a good night’s sleep especially for those of us who are sensitive. I know people who can sleep on nails (well, that’s probably an exaggeration) and others who need a comfortable environment. EZ Sleep Solutions will focus more on this in the future. In addition, many of our products address this.

I agree with a few other people here about wanting more information on the uncomfortable environment. You did have a Feng Shui article and I’d love to hear more about that and the energy of the bedroom. Thanks for an awesome job on the website.
